Overview

The Ethos 4.2 Metre 130mm Freestanding Flue Kit is a complete NZ-compliant flue system engineered specifically for Ethos wood burners. Unlike standard wood fire flues, Ethos uses a unique 130mm bi-directional EconAir induction system that dramatically improves efficiency, reduces emissions, prevents cold drafts, and enhances performance in modern airtight homes.

Ethos wood fires do not draw combustion air from the room or from elsewhere inside the house. Because no air is used from the room the fire does not depressurise the room, meaning:

There is no need for room vents in modern airtight homes, Eliminates draughts inside the home, a better combustion is achieved, high efficiencies and lower emissions.
