Wagener Pipi Rural Wood Burner
OVERVIEW
The Wagener Pipi Rural Wood Burner is the smallest fire in the Wagener range, designed specifically for tiny homes, cabins, sleep-outs, mobile homes and other compact spaces. Its shallow body makes it easier to accommodate where space is limited, while still providing a good-sized viewing window, practical cooking surface and usable firebox.
Wagener rates the Pipi at 3–5 kW room heat output, with a recommended heating range of 15–60 m² in northern New Zealand. Despite its compact dimensions, the firebox is designed to accommodate several useful-sized logs, with Wagener reporting approximately 2.5–3 hours of burn time in its own testing under stated conditions. The Pipi also uses Wagener's purpose-designed 100 mm Slim Line Flue System.
For rural Auckland installations, the Pipi provides an excellent option where a conventional larger wood burner would simply produce too much heat. Dr Flue can assess the room size, fire position, non-combustible hearth, required clearances and roof penetration to determine the optimum complete new flue system. As the Pipi is a rural wood burner, Auckland installations require a property over 2 hectares.
