Wagener Leon Multi Fuel Fire

OVERVIEW

The Wagener Leon Multi Fuel Fire is a powerful New Zealand-made freestanding fire designed for larger homes requiring strong room heating with the added practicality of a cooking surface. With an estimated 16–18 kW heat output, the Leon features a large brick-lined firebox, ashpan and grate, integrated wood storage base and the ability to burn wood or coal.

For rural Auckland installations, the Leon provides a practical option for homeowners wanting a traditional high-output fire with greater control over combustion. Its multi-fuel design incorporates separate air controls, while the large cooktop can be used for boiling a kettle or cooking. An optional 3 kW Lion wetback can also be fitted for domestic hot-water heating.

The Leon is also well suited to replacement wood burner installations on rural Auckland properties. During consultation, Dr Flue can assess the home's heating requirements, fire position, non-combustible hearth, wetback requirements and roof penetration to determine the optimum complete new flue system. For Auckland installations, this rural fire requires a property over 2 hectares.
