Wagener Fairburn Legs Wood Range Cooker

OVERVIEW

The Wagener Fairburn Legs Wood Range Cooker is a traditional New Zealand-made slow-combustion range designed for cooking, baking, room heating and optional hot water. The leg model combines a large cooking surface, full-size oven and deep brick-lined firebox with the classic freestanding appearance of a traditional wood range.

For rural Auckland wood burner installations, the Fairburn Legs is ideal for homes where the fire needs to do more than simply heat the room. Wagener specifies an estimated 16 kW heat output, while the large cooktop and oven provide genuine everyday cooking capability. The Fairburn is also multi-fuel capable and can be fitted with an optional wetback for domestic hot-water heating.

The Fairburn Legs is particularly well suited to replacement wood range installations, including homes replacing an older wood or coal range. During consultation, Dr Flue can assess the heating and cooking requirements, fire position, non-combustible hearth, wetback requirements and the optimum complete new flue system. As a rural fire, Auckland installations require a property over 2 hectares.
