Wagener CookTop Stove
Overview
The Wagener CookTop Stove is a compact yet powerful slow-combustion wood burner designed to provide heating, cooking, and optional hot water heating from a single appliance. With more than 40 years of proven performance across New Zealand, the CookTop has earned a reputation as one of the country's most practical and dependable rural wood fires.
Built from solid 5mm steel with a deep brick-lined firebox, the CookTop is designed for long burn times and excellent heat output. Its large firebox accommodates substantial logs, while the integrated wood storage base provides convenient fuel storage beneath the fire.
A standout feature is the extra-thick 8mm steel cooktop, providing a generous cooking surface for kettles, pots, pans, and emergency cooking during power outages. When fitted with the optional Lion Wetback, the CookTop can also contribute to domestic hot water heating, making it an ideal solution for self-sufficient homes, lifestyle blocks, and rural properties.
