OVERVIEW

The Firenzo Athena Bay Rural is a New Zealand-made insert wood burner designed for larger rural properties. Its traditional cast surround and wide-view bay door provide the classic appearance of the Athena range, while the large Bay firebox delivers an estimated peak heat output of 23 kW. Firenzo specifies the Bay for homes up to 180 m².

For rural Auckland installations, this model is designed for properties over 2 hectares. This makes the Athena Bay Rural an option for larger lifestyle and rural properties where the clean-air version of the fire is not required.

It is particularly suited to upgrading an existing masonry fireplace or replacing an older rural insert wood burner. Dr Flue can assess the fireplace opening, hearth, heating requirements, property size and installation requirements before specifying the fire and its complete new flue system.
