The Ethos Ares Frame is a New Zealand-made built-in wood burner specifically designed for raised installations in timber-framed walls. It combines the Ares firebox with a revised fascia designed to create the clean appearance of a wood fire integrated into the wall. With the appropriate Zero Clearance Kit, the Ares Frame can be installed into timber framing without requiring a traditional masonry fireplace.

For Auckland wood burner installations, the Ares Frame is particularly suited to new builds and renovations where the fireplace is intended to become part of the room's architectural design. Its 14 kW estimated peak output, large viewing window and built-in configuration make it quite different from a conventional freestanding wood burner.
